SYlYZ is a project based on double identity. Our project consists of a number of different aspects including a video game experience, projection mapping along with this website. SYlYs is a palindrome word, meaning the word reads the same backwards as it does forwards. It plays on the original idea the group had to have a character with a split face, the name SYlYS looks similar to this.
In the group there are five members. Clément Rougé is the Game Developer and Project Manager, Zoé Vary is the Design Director and Video Mapping Designer, Amanda Rodgers is the 3D and Graphics Designer, Aoibhinn Fleming is the Sound Director, and Kyle Traynor, the Web Designer.
SYlYS grew up in a small town with a population of just 81 people. Socialising was difficult and she spent most of her time in her room but when social media started creeping into her life it changed her. Her image started to mean more and more to her. She began living a double life online. This began to mess with her mind leading her to believe her persona was real.
